Ok...here are my "redefined" closet door-office shelves. Finished! Shabby, "shiny" and all.
My Best Friend brought me several galvanized buckets. I had been searching and searching for some BUT I was NOT going to pay the outrageous prices for them. I welcomed these little nuggets of joy with OPEN arms! I had big big plans to paint them and put vinyl on them. However, I created two and only one sold. The other I donated at a show I was a vendor at. So...this is what I ended up doing with them and I couldn't be happier. I DO have more and I will take the little bit of staging down and keep it real by crammin' as many buckets on the shelves as I can. =)
Thrifty/Effective storage.
(as long as the buckets are given to you by your BFF)
You can see the shelving post HERE.
OK....Now here they are.
The cost of the shelving was $10.50 with supplies purchased at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
I already had the following items:
The white jugs and lantern-like metal candle holders were purchased from the thrift store. The glass candle holders are from the dollar store and the candles were purchased with a gift card.
Total estimated cost for everything: $18.50
Thrifty/Effective shabby chic/indrustrial-esqe office storage.
Whatta ya think of my office storage?
