BEFORE:
It needed a good scrub but nothing I couldn't handle.
I pictured a pencil starfish in this from the second we picked it up at the thrift store. My little mini vacation came to a screeching halt when I realized I didn't have a pencil starfish. :( NOR do I live ANYwhere close to the ocean. So...to eBay I went. Yep~I bought 2 white pencil starfish. I heart them. I didn't realize starfish were spendy but apparently they are! May the mini vacation commence.
So to this thrift store jewel I added:
dollar store small rocks
dollar store medium rocks
thrift store sand
burlap
a button threaded with twine
vinyl lettering in Ice Blue
AND...a white pencil starfish
*I will add the candles later...I want the battery operated kind.*
NOW:
~>Apologies in advance for the non-professional pics<~~
*sigh*
It isn't exactly how I pictured it but nothing really ever is. Right?? I keep glancing at it though. I truly love the starfish!

ReplyDelete@Sharon~ Oh ME TOO! I'm holding on to the fact that spring should be here soon. ANY day now. But I can't help wanting to transition straight into summer. I suppose I better not wish for that as spring prepares us for summer. ;)
