Another old window Redefined

Wow! I'm losing followers.
:(
That kind of hurts.
I realize I haven't been
posting as often lately
but I didn't expect
my followers to
drop like flies.
*lesson learned*

Well...anyhow...I
have once again
combined an old window,
scrapbook paper and vinyl lettering
and finished with
a very nice outcome.

Decide on the scrapbook paper you want to use.
Cut to fit pane. Use spray adhesive and spray the panes.
(Follow the spray adhesive directions)
Place appropriate paper in panes. Let dry.

Decide the saying, font type
and vinyl color you want to use.
Making sure the saying will fit in the panes.
Cut vinyl lettering. (or you can stencil)
Apply lettering.

Remove transfer tape.
Clean glass gently.
And hang!

Then admire!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!

  1. Thanks for sharing! Also, I feel the need to comment on your followers comment...don't judge the success of your blog by your google followers...I don't subscribe through there...I have your blog saved in my favorites that I check every couple weeks. Take heart in knowing there are people out here like me that visit your site directly but are not necessarily tracked by anything. Unless blogger provides 'web statistics' which I would be counted as a visitor. That would be the real number you would want to look at for the amount of people visiting your site. See if you can add google analytics to your site. I do for mine and I am amazed seeing 'where' everyone is from who visit my site. Hope this helps! and keep up the good work!

  2. Thank you Jeannie! I appreciate you leaving such a great comment. I didn't take into consideration that some may view my blog other ways than to follow it. ;) I just hope my followers aren't leaving because I have been a bad blogger. I have been super busy but hope to get back posting soon.

  3. I have just found your blog through Funky Junk. I love using old windows for art and I really like what you've done with this one! I might make one as a gift for my step-sister who just told me today that she wanted something done with one for her laundry room.

As far as your followers go, at least yours are in the triple digits. I can't even get to 20. Although, I do notice in my blogger stats that I get way more than that in "visits" a day, so that's all I care about. I do wish more would leave comments, but I guess I don't inspire them enough to do so.

  6. I can’t help but admire this work of art. It is very lovely and creative, and the message you put is truly inspiring. This way, the window can still serve its purpose, while being a canvass. =) I'm sure my friends will be envious if I make my version of this. Haha!
