Easy DIY "To Do" Plate

Well...no 3-peat for Mr. Happy Harvick! :( For those you just joining me, WE are huge Kevin Harvick fans. He didn't win last night BUT there's still lots of racing to be done! Go HaRvIcK gO!

~*~*DIY Dry Erase Plate*~*~
This project was fast, fun and fairly easy! Similar inspirational ideas have floated around blog land using a plate, vinyl, Velcro and a dry erase marker. I took those items and created my own version of the idea.

Here is what I used to make my
To Do:
One Day At A Time
~Dry Erase Decorative Plate~

A plate (I think this one is ceramic)
Vinyl (or paint if you can free hand)
Dry Erase marker
Velcro
Ruler to measure your plate space

I created an Up Words & On Words vinyl design and cut it out using my Silhouette.

I applied application tape to my vinyl design and transferred it to the plate where I wanted it to go. Then I used my orange (you may never know just how much I {love} the color orange!!)
and wrote my "to do" list for today on there.

Oh yes...if only it were that easy huh?? I could complete that list in no time! lol
You can kind of see at the bottom where I added, "One Day At A Time."
Because while we may always have a list of things to do, we still only get one day at a time.

My dry erase marker has a magnet on the back so that is where I put one small circle of Velcro. I added it's mate to the back side of the plate.

And while I'd love to stay and blog...I have a "To Do" list to get to!! =)
